I decided to try another Pinterest idea today! I can't wait to try these easy, no bake granola bars!!
Recipe:
1/2 stick unsalted butter
1/4 c honey
1/4 c light brown sugar
2 cups plain granola
1 c rice krispies
Your choice of chocolate chips or peanut butter chips
Heat butter and honey in a pan. Add brown sugar as butter starts to melt. Bring to boil and turn down to med/low heat until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and add granola and rice krispies until evenly coated. Place mixture into 2 9x5 pans lined with foil and let set at room temperature for 15-20 minutes!!
I can't wait to dig in!! :))

The Best Onion Rings!!!
I have recently tried this recipe for homemade onion rings and they were the BEST I have ever had!!! I hope you can see the picture but just in case you can't I will list the ingredients.
Recipe:
2 large sweet onions
2 1/2 c buttermilk
2 eggs
3 TBS water
1 3/4 c all purpose flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp chili powder
1-2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground cumin
oil to fry
You cut the onions into rings and let them soak in the buttermilk for about 30 minutes. Once they are done soaking you drain the buttermilk and dip into the egg and water mixture and then into the dry mixture. The dry mixture consists of the flour and all spices. I deep fried mine in our fryer but you could put oil in a pan and cook until they are a golden brown. Your oil should be at 375. This was an easy recipe to follow. I was nervous at first because I thought it would be harder but I was very surprised at how easy it was. You have to try it sometime!!! :)

Something I love...
I absolutely love frogs!! I don't know why but they are just the cutest animal to collect little trinkets of! I have found items at garage sales, flea markets and stores! I even have a massive amount of stuff animals that I have no where to put ;) Each time I find a new frog I just smile. They are something easy and simple to collect and I hope to have more one day. This is a picture of a small part of my collection. What do you collect?
Buck a Roo
Buck is the wild one of our crew! He has the most energy and can go for hours! We let him in this afternoon and he started jumping from the couch to the chair and the floor and everywhere!! The next thing we know he has a cookie in his mouth!?! Luckily Jerred caught him before he took a bite of it :) Apparently Jerred dropped it earlier. Now Buck has decided to get out every toy they own and play with it! I can't complain though. At least he is chewing on toys and not our stuff. He is just too funny!! :))

Makeup board
This is a project I found on Pinterest. I absolutely love it. It allows me to see every piece of makeup I have so I am not constantly using the same eye shadow or eye liner. It was very easy to make and fits perfectly next to the bathroom mirror.
Items needed:
frame
sheet metal cut to fit where glass is in the frame
fabric to fit over metal
spray adhesive to attach fabric
magnets for the back of the makeup items
I picked out a frame I liked but you could get a cheap one and spray paint it. I got this one on sale at Michael's. I found some fabric I liked that matched and used it to cover the metal. I also made my fabric big enough to fit around the edges so I didn't cut myself. I cut the metal the same size as the glass insert of picture frames. I used a hot glue gun to attach the magnets and then put it all together. I also added a lil extra by adding my last name to the top of it. I wanted a lil extra :) I am very happy with the finished product!!!
