This is just a peek into my random everyday life. It may be crazy at times but I love every minute of it.

Happy New Year!!!
I can't believe it is already 2012! This year has been a great year but has also had its heartbreaks! I have had to learn to accept everything as it is and know it is God's plan for me!! I will keep my head up and continue to move forward! Bring on the new year!!!! :)) This is how we will be bringing in the new year ;)

Something I love...
I absolutely love frogs!! I don't know why but they are just the cutest animal to collect little trinkets of! I have found items at garage sales, flea markets and stores! I even have a massive amount of stuff animals that I have no where to put ;) Each time I find a new frog I just smile. They are something easy and simple to collect and I hope to have more one day. This is a picture of a small part of my collection. What do you collect?
Buck a Roo
Buck is the wild one of our crew! He has the most energy and can go for hours! We let him in this afternoon and he started jumping from the couch to the chair and the floor and everywhere!! The next thing we know he has a cookie in his mouth!?! Luckily Jerred caught him before he took a bite of it :) Apparently Jerred dropped it earlier. Now Buck has decided to get out every toy they own and play with it! I can't complain though. At least he is chewing on toys and not our stuff. He is just too funny!! :))

Makeup board
This is a project I found on Pinterest. I absolutely love it. It allows me to see every piece of makeup I have so I am not constantly using the same eye shadow or eye liner. It was very easy to make and fits perfectly next to the bathroom mirror.
Items needed:
frame
sheet metal cut to fit where glass is in the frame
fabric to fit over metal
spray adhesive to attach fabric
magnets for the back of the makeup items
I picked out a frame I liked but you could get a cheap one and spray paint it. I got this one on sale at Michael's. I found some fabric I liked that matched and used it to cover the metal. I also made my fabric big enough to fit around the edges so I didn't cut myself. I cut the metal the same size as the glass insert of picture frames. I used a hot glue gun to attach the magnets and then put it all together. I also added a lil extra by adding my last name to the top of it. I wanted a lil extra :) I am very happy with the finished product!!!

Homemade Laundry Detergent
I made a homemade laundry detergent this week. It was quite interesting and so far I really like it.
Recipe
4 lb Borax
4 lb baking soda
55 oz super washing soda
3 1/2 oz oxy clean
3 bars pink zote soap or felsnaptha
Mix all powders and grate soap into mixture. Store in container. Use 1-2 tbs per load.
Our Boys :)
Since I do not have children of my own yet, I do consider the dogs our children :) As I am sure most of you do as well. We have 3 crazy lil boys who keep us on our toes! Timmy is very timid and loves to walk in circles. Dexter is lazy but he loves to lay on you and is super soft. Buck is the live wire and the youngest of the bunch. He is a very good ear cleaner and will love on you all day. I couldn't live without these boys.
3 hours later...
Wow! I guess I didn't think about how much time creating a blog would take. There is so much more I could do but I am going to quit for the evening. Poor Jerred is being neglected since I am on the computer. Although I did cook dinner tonight! I even had time to make those cookies so I earned a little computer time. I am sure I should be in there doing dishes now but those can wait a little longer. I can see I am really going to enjoy this blog but I will have to put the time into it to make it great. Hope you enjoy!
Mr. Turner
Meet my husband Jerred Matthew Turner. He is the love of my life and best friend. We are high school sweethearts and have been together for almost 6 years. We got married in 2010 and I have never been happier. He is a hard working man and I couldn't imagine my life without him. :)
